• All inpatient admissions and observation over 23 hours, except maternity admissions, require pre-certification with Dobson & Associates. Failure to pre-certifiy may result in a reduction of benefits or a denial of claims.

• Pre-certification should be done at least 10 days prior to a scheduled admission or within 48 hours for

emergency admission.
